- A B O U T P A N I C H A R D W A R E
-
- Panic Hardware was started (in John's basement, no less!) by Ty Morton and Chris Raleigh for the
- above-stated reason. However, we plan to do more stuff, now that we have a taste of it. Ty has
- whipped up a handy little Excel operator that will auto-track all of your business stuff for you. It
- should be out there on the net before too long. Also, we're going to do the guys at Macworld
- one better and publish a guide to every extension there is (or every one we can find) - what it is,
- what it does, how much memory it actually uses, and why you probably don't need it. If we're
- lucky, we'll get that published for you tout suite.
-
- The name "Panic Hardware" came from lunch one day in a dining hall on the campus of Ball
- State University. The emergency exits announced that panic hardware would cause the alarm
- to go off if the door was opened. The name Panic Hardware was thus born, because Chris
- thought that it would be a funny name for a software company.
-
- So there you go.
